About the Role:
A specialist contractor delivering reinforced concrete and civil engineering packages is seeking a motivated Quantity Surveyor to join their commercial team. The role will involve supporting cost management, procurement, and contract administration across a range of infrastructure and structural projects.
This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially aware QS to work on technically challenging works including reinforced concrete, structures, and civil engineering packages.
Key Duties:
- Support commercial management of reinforced concrete and civil engineering projects
- Assist with procurement of subcontractors and materials
- Prepare applications for payment and valuations
- Monitor project costs and track financial performance
- Manage variations, change control, and contractual notices
- Support subcontract administration and final account agreement
- Work closely with site teams to maintain accurate records
- Assist with monthly reporting and cost forecasting
Experience & Requirements:
- Experience in quantity surveying within civil engineering or RC structures
- Understanding of cost management and procurement processes
- Strong commercial awareness and contract administration skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with site and commercial teams
- Good organisational skills with attention to detail
- Degree in Quantity Surveying or equivalent desirable
