About the Role:
A leading civil engineering and utilities contractor is seeking a proactive Plant Coordinator to manage the on-hire and off-hire of plant and equipment across multiple sites. This role is key to ensuring smooth, cost-effective operations and strong supplier relationships, while maintaining accurate hire records and supporting site teams with their plant requirements.

Key Duties:

  • Coordinate on-hire and off-hire of plant and equipment
  • Monitor supplier service level agreements (SLAs) and resolve queries
  • Provide responsive support to site teams on plant issues
  • Maintain accurate plant hire system records
  • Ensure compliance with internal procedures and supplier agreements

Experience & Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in a plant hire desk, logistics coordination, or similar role
  • Knowledge of plant and equipment used in construction or utilities
  • Strong organisational and communication skills
  • Ability to perform under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Proficient in Office 365 (experience with Dynamics 365 or similar systems beneficial)
  • GCSEs (or equivalent) in Maths and English, grade C/4 or above
