About the Role:
A growing civil engineering and construction contractor is seeking a motivated HSEQ Advisor to join their team. This role offers the chance to make a real impact by shaping Health, Safety, Environmental, and Quality standards across high-value projects, with a clear pathway to progress into a managerial role.
Key Duties:
- Carry out site inspections and audits to ensure compliance with policies, procedures, and statutory requirements
- Support project teams with toolbox talks, inductions, and training
- Investigate incidents and prepare clear, actionable reports
- Assist in developing and implementing HSEQ management systems
- Work with senior leadership to roll out new safety and quality initiatives
Experience & Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a HSEQ role within construction or civil engineering
- Relevant NEBOSH / IOSH qualification (or working towards)
- Good knowledge of HSE legislation and construction standards
- Strong communication skills with a proactive, hands-on approach
- Ability to show initiative and take ownership of responsibilities
- Commitment to high standards and leading by example
