About the Company / Project:
A leading UK Construction Company specializing in Reinforced Concrete Frames & Groundworks are currently recruiting an experienced Project Manager to oversee a £33m RC Frame & Basement package for new Mixed use Resi Project in London.
The company has an annual turnover of circa £140m, indicating steady growth and success.
The Project manager will need to have experience in overseeing Basement works including Piling and Underpining. Piling will be subbed out to specialist subcontractors but underpinning will be done the Hiring SubContractor.
Responsibilities:
- Manage the complete concrete frame & Basement construction with all associated groundworks and foundations.
- Maintain project schedule, safety, and budget control.
- Handle Main Contarctor client-facing roles and paperwork duties.
- Oversee projects from Mobilzation stages through to completion.
Requirements:
- Must be degree qualified in Civil Engineering (or similar).
- Proven experience as a Project Manager.
- Experience working for concrete frame & groundwork subcontractors in the UK.
- Ideally, experience overseeing RC frame & groundwork packages valued at least £10 million.
- Stability of employment, ideally holding stable periods (2-3 years plus) with each employer since becoming a manager.
Experience:
- Project management: 4 years (required).
- Proven experience with RC Frame / Concrete frame / Basement structures.
Skills:
- Strong understanding of quality control processes and industry standards.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication and report-writing skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
Salary / Benefits:
- £95,000 - £115,000 per annum, plus benefits.
- Day rate option for CIS or Limited Company setup: circa £425 to £470 per day.
